Probably the Worse Coin Design Ever, or at least Karen says so...
If you read the descriptions of each Large cent style, you will notice that they changed looks often. It was because of the complaints received. People complained about each and every design all the way until the small cent was introduced (which was complained about too, but not as heavily as the large cent design). Goes to show that even Karen back in the 1700's and 1800's just couldn't resist complaining about something that doesn't matter. I personally think that the coin was great!
